A Modern Alternative to Net Curtains

Double curtain poles allow you to layer your window dressing with two pairs of curtains hanging simultaneously from the same fitting. This arrangement is ideal not only for the security conscious, but also for certain rooms such as living rooms, bedrooms or bathrooms that require a level privacy during the day whilst also allowing the daylight to enter the room. We have an extensive range of brackets and connectors for these double poles here

This system usually consists of two lengths of pole set parallel to each other by supporting double brackets. The parallel poles are equally spaced apart, allowing both pairs of curtains to open and close independently. Usually the front pole has a thicker diameter for supporting the main set of drapes, whilst the back pole is thinner for the lighter weight fabric.

Our Range of Doubles

These double poles are supplied as complete kits which include both the poles, double brackets, rings, finials, fixing screws and an easy to follow set of fitting instructions. Our filter navigation allows you to sort through our products by specified curtain weights, colours and brands to help you to find exactly what you are looking for quickly and easily.

Design Tip

Try arranging the front set of curtains as a show piece, keeping them neatly dressed back at all times with a matching set of tiebacks or holdbacks, leaving the back set of curtains to function for every day use.
